So, this is an old blog post from 2 years ago. I came across this post while I was scoping out ideas for my speech in english class on a memory.
Anyways, this post is ridiculously ironic and amazing.
KNOW WHY?!?!
Because in this post I said that "I never got to see them live". I also said that "hopefully one day treos will make a comeback."

Well... exactly two years to the date from that post, I would finally see The Receiving End of Sirens live. I would finally see them in their full glory; performing with Casey even! I would finally meet Brendan.
While they are not getting back together, they still remain friends and continue to pursue careers in music. They will continue to do secret shows in the Massachusetts area every once and a while; and have a reunion show like at Skatefest every two years.

This is amazing. Incredible. Fantastic.
I honestly still cannot believe what I witnessed on Saturday night.
THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.
What I thought would never ever happen.
Did.

And I have the bruises and broken bones to prove it.
And it was so worth all the pain I now have to see my all-time favorite band live.
THANK YOU SO MUCH GOD FOR ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN IN MY LIFE.

And guaranteeing that there will be another reunion show in two years, the shirt I bought at their merch table says that it is a ticket to their reunion show in 2012.
I guarantee you that I WILL be at that show. And I will be able to drive there too!
I'm so excited.

But, I can't just talk about TREOS; Envy on the Coast was there too! Along with The Dear Hunter (Casey's new band), and I See Stars. Along with many other bands.
Envy on the Coast was AAAMAZING as well. Ryan Hunter is gorgeous. And insane. I love it!

Every time I start a new post, I never finish it, and end up not even posting it.
I'm finding that extremely lame.
I'm seriously going to try and put forth more of an effort to keep this blog up.
It holds all my memories. I'm going to want these memories down the road when I'm in college in a couple years.
Aah, that's so weird to say that. I was in kindergarten almost 11 years ago. That's over a decade that has flown by. So much has happened since then! So many experiences and changes and metamorphoses and challenges, but now I'm looking at colleges, trying to plan my future both with my career and with my relationships. It's scary, yet also extremely exciting and invigorating.

Anyways, I'm enjoying my new laptop, and iPhone.
This February vacation was a bit of a let down.
However, it was still great to have a week off. Instead of like 10 hour school days because of rehearsals.
It also wasn't so terribly horrible because I'm going to see "Spring Awakening" on Saturday.
I'm currently addicted to the soundtrack.
I'm feeling like this is going to be the most awkward musical/play I've ever had to see with my parents. It's gonna be my first live show that includes nudity! How exciting hahahahaha.
OMGOMGOMG, speaking of stages--the last day of school before the break we had our annual civility assembly. The chorus got to perform Glee's arrangement of "Don't Stop Believin'" It was kinda in shambles the day, and even a little in rehearsal earlier that morning, but when it was showtime and the entire school was in the auditorium, we all pulled together and put on the best dang performance ever. At first, when the music started and we started going down the aisles singing we could hear some people laughing, but then as it kept going they all got really into it and at the end as we were walking off the stage, they were all chanting for us to go again. So, we ran to the back of the auditorium and did it again, and this time on the last repeat of the chorus, everyone in the auditorium stood up and was singing with us. The cheer at the end of our performance was amazing. I've never been a part of something that had a crowd cheer for us that loudly and that much. It really proved the point of the entire assembly-- just because we may not be the most popular crowd of students, and the beginning was a bit unexpected, doesn't mean we don't have talent and could blow them away. Those who were laughing at the beginning weren't by the end of it. I love those assemblies. It's one of the very few occasions where everyone gets along and we all come together, coexist, and are one big Wahconah family.

alright, so this post was started on my birthday (may 19), and i never wrote anything in it? so, seeing as i'm majorly lame for not even blogging in my birthday month, i definitely should have at least one post in june. and since it's the last day of june '09--aka, like, the worst month ever?--it only seems right to blog now.

april was a good month i have to say. the chorus and band trip to williamsburg, VA was pretty freaking fantastic hahah. we did so much aside from the competition and going to busch gardens. we went to a lot of museums and stuff to make the trip educational, but it was fun too. the group was only like 60 people. we had one bus, and the "party van". and for all the kids there were only like 4 chaperones. it was amazing, cause they actually trusted us. on the way down, we stopped for lunch at a rest stop in new jersey. that was... interesting. i was sitting outside of starbucks at a table with ally, emily, and tony. we were just sitting there, with starbucks and cinnabons. then a hippie came over to me and was like, "hey, can i have a cinnabon? i don't have money for food." i was like, "uuh, sure..?" so i gave him one thinking he'd leave. i was wrong on that point. he stayed there for like 10 minutes. talking to us. about random things that didn't really make much sense. he asked us where we were from, i said western massachusetts. he said he goes up to amherst from time to time. then he asked us to go to a grateful dead concert with him. we were like, uhh.. no thanks. we have a competition in virginia to get to. he was like really? what kind of competition? and we were like, chorus and band. we're in chorus. he was like woah, really? sing for me. we were like, no. and then he started singing "my girl". like for 2 minutes, and he's like singing extremely loudly, and everyone's looking at us, and we were like, oh my Godddddd this guy is high off his asss. it made my trip. hahahaha.

on the trip though, we could go do whatever basically when we got somewhere, as long as we checked in every, like, 5 hours or something. and we didnt even have to see them, we could just call them. if it was a class trip or something, it wouldn't have been as fun because the teachers would've hovered and we wouldn't have been trusted because the troublemakers would have been there. and as band and chorus, they were pretty confident we weren't going to do something completely stupid. well.. they probably don't really know us hahaha. but we're still better. but it was kind of amazing how the group got along. normally, a lot of us never really associate with each other, but on the trip everyone was like a family. at the hotel at night everyone bonded because we couldn't hang out in our hotel rooms ahah. and the first night, everyone went in the pool and they had a hottub that had a maximum limit of 5 people--we had like 18 people in there. and of course there was shopping (: i ♥ norfolk.

colonial williamsburg was also kinda cool. i had already been there like 4 times before, and saw everything so it wasn't really the most interesting thing. mini golfing at pirates cove.. um. let's recap that with the words: EPIC FAIL. mainly on my part. let's just say i should never golf. i hit the golf ball into the waterfall, then while i was trying to get that out, i dropped my golf club in the water, then i was hanging on to the side by just my feet and legs, and just about fell into the water, when i finally got my golf ball and club out. then, if you thought i couldn't get any worse, i hit the ball and it clipped tge side, went flying and nearly took some guy's head off, and then went flying into the bushes in the parking lot. but overall, that trip was great (:

oh, and mixed chorus won 1st place. chamber choir won 3rd place. band won 1st place.
also, in april, taylor, lucy, and i went to northern lights and saw cash cash, the friday night boys, and forever the sickest kids (:

may was a pretty easy-going month. nothing big really happened; nothing bad, nothing good. it was just neutral. my birthday and birthday party were fun (: six reunion much? everyone's getting along, it was great. at the end of may, there was one more chorus activity. the berkshire chorus festival at the colonial theater. we were performing with mount greylock, monument mountain, and the berkshire choral group or something. we rehearsed friday night at saint stephen's church for 3 hours. then, on saturday for 6 hours. then on sunday we were at the colonial for like 6 hours. we performed handel's zadok the priest, schubert's mass in g (oh how i love latin...), and an assortment of american folk songs. it was actually waaaay more fun than i thought it was going to be.

june. june, june, june. not my favorite month so far this year.
it was pretty depressing. kinda bittersweet.
so i started june off pretty optimistic. it was the last month of my freshman year at wahconah. there were 25 days until summer.
not far into month, was the one year anniversary of my grandma's passing. then, the day after that, i learned that one of my friends was in a coma. the day after that, he passed on. he was 17 years young. too young to go. that was the first blow to the happiness of the month. then, the month started going by really really slowly. i started freaking out about grades. about the upcoming finals. about basically everything. then there were like 2 days without rain. it started getting pretty depressing.
on one of those sunny days, the freshman class went to highmeadow park in connecticut because it was senior assembly and they didn't have room for us. so, at this park, it was like middle school day. they had a very overcrowded pool, tons of food, other activities, and volleyball. wahconah took over the volleyball court. that's where i spent my entire day. there was absolutely no shade. i put sunblock on more than once, and i didn't realize i was fried like the french fries i ate, until like 4:30. i was basically as red as the hippie in new jersey's eyes ahahaha. then i got sunpoisoning on my shoulders. and peeling was disgustinnnng. and it hurt like craaazy.

then the carnival came to town. that was fun. not as fun as years past, but still fun. it gets lamer and lamer every year though haha. i just like the food. and the zipper. you never know if you're gonna die on that thing or not. oh, and yes, i did take this amazing picture on my phone. the sky is pretty epic.

then it was stephanie and laura's birthday. and steph's party was pretty dang fun. especially the second day, when steph, bryanna, asia, and i went rafting down the housatonic river. and ended up going pretty far and we were all injured and cold. so we got out, climbed up the side of a mountain pushing the raft with us, and sat on the side of a bridge for like 40 minutes trying to flag someone down to use their cell phone so we could get a ride back up to hinsdale. then the cops came. and i like broke my toe, and cut it open. it was like, the most fun ever (no sarcasm).
and then over the course of the month, like 6 celebrities died. MJ died. that's sad stuff. even if he was a creep. buut finals came, they were easy, i passed. im now a sophomore. 3 more years in dalton. summer '09 is here. i'm going to make the most of it. i'm starting over this summer. i don't really want a repeat of this past year. not that it was bad or anything. it just wasn't the best or anything. so thursday, i'm getting a new hairstyle, new hair color, new outfits. i'm starting fresh. i'm going to reconnect with God and my faith. go to some revivals. reconnect with family. go to some parties. reconnect with friends. go to some concerts. have fun. i'll only live once.

kay so, it's Good Friday and i got my mom to let me stay home (:
but really, it should be a day we have off to reflect on our year so far, and our sins, etc etc.
and i just thought i'd post this video to one of my favorite songs, that every time i hear it, it has an overwhelming affect on me. showbread is amazing, and this video to go with the song is also very overwhelming. WARNING, it does have some gruesome scenes, but that's part of what makes it so overwhelming and effective to see what Jesus went through for us, and that no matter our strife, He will always be there to pick us up again.

alright, so today i slept for like the first time in so long. everything's over now; the musical, and the beatles concert. both went exceptionally well. wednesday night's concert of the beatles music was beyond amazing. i have never ever in all my years of being in the wahconah auditorium, seen the auditorium that full. every functioning seat was full, people were sitting along the walls, and there were rows of people standing in the back. it gave me this amazing feeling of, people actually care about what we're doing, and that undergoing this huge battle of putting together the entire beatles' sgt. pepper album with the band was well worth it. we heard from some people that our rendition of "being for the benefit of mr. kite" (one of my favorite beatles' songs ever btw haha) was even better than the beatles' original. having someone say you're better than the beatles is like, such a huge compliment. it just feels great that we were able to grab these people in the audience and bring them into a world where stock markets, and money, and troubles, etc, didn't matter. its great haha (:

as for the musical, that went great too. our opening night show deffinitely left something to be desired though; it was for sure not our best. but friday and saturday nights' performances were amazing; so many people came and it was well-received by the public which always feels coolwhen you've been working so hard on something for so long. i cut my ankle open though, that wasn't too fun ahah. and friendly's, and the cast party--what can i say? it's the apollonian players, we're ridiculously fun. bahaha (: and my costume was pretty interesting, especially my feather mullet. i am nooot going to miss it. but i am going to miss everyone in the cast, and crew, and pit band (even if they do eat ridiculous amounts of food in front of us). and even though i see most of them everyday or so at school, it's not the same. the bond that this cast got over the course of this show is amazing. we all grew through this greuling process. i'm proud of everyone <3.

anyways. i just felt like blogging today ahaa. my 1 year anniversary of blogging is rapidly approaching! it seems like yesterday that taylor told me i should start blogging, and i did. amazing (:

haha, okay, so i don't really know what i'm going to blog about today. i just got home from tech at school for the musical. it was alright, there wasn't much we could do because it was mainly heavy lifting stuff, so i painted and washed brushes. and you know what, i like being on paintbrush washing duty, because i like the janitor's closet in G hall for some reason haha. like, it has this vent thing above the sink thing and air pours down from it and it feels cool hahah. aand, its such a little space, and its like my own little room. which i like, because i cannot stand being in the auditorium during tech because everyone doesn't shut up, and i always end up having to do three times the amount of work. besides, they were playing horrible music today, that no one liked, except for the minority of 3 or 4. it was ridiculous. and i got purple paint on my bdg cigarette jeans (aka; my miracle jeans). but it was an okay day haha. but it's weird i haven't even talked about the musical yet on here. i'm so lame. so i'm going to induct a new subject to my blog:
SECRETS FROM "ONCE UPON A MATTRESS"

soo, to start off this new subject point;
auditions went well, except for the nursery rhyme one where i had the worst tongue twister, and i accidently said "sex" instead of six, like 5 times. fml hahaha. but my singing audition i guess went well haha, everyone was like, woah i didn't know she had that in her, or something. but it turns out that it was because i hit something like a high C, and even though that was ridiculously off pitch, everyone was like OMG. and, i did sell my song (: if stages has taught me anything, it would be to sell everything you do, because if you put yourself out there and you're comfortable, you can become your character so much easier. needless to say, being a freshman, leads are reserved for juniors and seniors. but i got the chorus part of lady karina. and i also got the solo part of the nightingale of samarkand, which means i have a lullaby to sing. and i can't get the rhythm, or notes right and it's so frustrating because i have to learn it on my own. therefore, i'm going to sound ridiculous, when i'm already going to look ridiculous in a bird costume, in a cage, on top of the monster, elevated 7 feet in the air, with techies being the only thing holding it to keep me from falling off and going SPLAT! in the pit. haha, it should be interesting. speaking of heights; like all my blocking for scenes is on the top platforms, and since our set is 2 levels, and it's going to be up to 8 feet in the air at the highest point (where i have to do the hardest, most active dance of the show on). hopefully no one will get hurt. but at the beginning i didn't really want to do this show because everyone who did it in stages the year i was in virginia said it wasn't that good of a show. but it's really not that bad; the show is really funny haha. i guess when we were younger we didn't get all the inuendos. and a really weird coincedence is that i'm going to virginia like, 20 or something days after the performances. so it's like i'm reliving that year, but doing both things i wanted to do. i think it's weeird haha. but it's really fun, i love the cast (: we're such a good little family hahaha. and there's a rumor going around that this is mr. towne's last year of doing theater at wahconah. and our school's budget has tossed around the idea of cutting all funds for all activities that aren't our major sports, or academic related. if that happens, i swear, i'm going to move. but i just can't picture myself doing theater anywhere else than wahconah. after all, i've been acting on that stage since i was like 8 or 9; so thats like 7 years of my life. woaaah. that means i've been in like 13 plays in my lifetime. aaah. i feel so old saying that.

anyway, i'm cold, and i'm leaving soon to go pick out a new cornwallis (jr), and go eat.

i miss them a lot sometimes.
taylor informed me that i deleted my old blog,

9th grade's almost half over with.
can you believe it?
anyways, here's 16 days left.
which hangs on the wall of my closet,
so that every morning i read it,
and remember the bond we all share.

16 days of school left.

that means,
16 (really 15) days left at the actual table.
16 days until the six goes to high school.
16 days until stephanie graduates with us, and not be able to sit with us next year.
16 days until we can party every weekend.
16 days until we get all pretty and pose for cameras.
16 days left at nessacus, the birthplace of thetableofsix.
16 (or maybe 17) days left for me to finish the six's movie.
16 days until we cry over leaving middle school and parting in the upcoming autumn, even though we'll see each other the next day at ashley's.
16 days until we start the exchanging of the shirts, in our own sisterhood of the traveling pants (or in our case, shirts)
16 restless nights thinking of how we can make our mark on the school that made us grow up quicker than we realized, thinking of how we can make the table last forever, thinking of the changes and struggles we will all be met with in the future--which is doing a nose dive right at us as we inhale, exhale, blink, and repeat. thinking about the changes we could make to the past few years, but knowing that things we may regret have made us the beings we presently are. thinking of how we would be martyrs for our friendships in a flap of a hummingbirds delicate wings. and just thinking of how we can make the best of summer 2008.

so, all you people out there who don't know what to get me for my birthday (which, fyi, is may 19th), i want one of those adorable little creatures.

•on a little more serious note;
i might have a hole in my heart. it kinda sounds poetic in a way, but it's kinda scary at the same time. like i'm not gonna die or anything. it just means that i pass out a lot and stuff. which i do. but it could also be an imbalance of something in my head. but i like to think that my head is working just fine and that i wont ever need someone digging into my skull to examine my brains. eew much? yeah. but i'm gonna get through this. just like everything else. God gave this to me for a reason and i praise Him for that. thank you.

i've really been re-examining myself, my faith, my everything lately. which i guess everyone needs to do now and then. and i've really grown a lot. in many ways; mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually. you name it, i've probably grown in it. i accredit it to the Christian music scene a lot, because really, if i hadn't started listening to family force 5 and other bands, i probably wouldn't have been interested in any Christian music. and through that, when things in my life weren't going so well, and things happened, faith moved mountains for me. such as the dead flower coming back to life; one of the most profound reasons why my faith has grown so much over the past year. once you believe, Jesus is always going to be walking with you. even when you feel He isn't, just know that He is, and in the end, you will prevail. people may let you down, but your faith never will. it may be hard to keep your faith from turning luke-warm at times, but all you have to do is forget some of your reasoning and take a leap of faith. you never know what sorts of wonders are waiting for you in the deep end of your faith.

and you know, re-examining everything, made me realize how lucky i am. how lucky i am to have all the great friends, and wonderful people in my life. what about the people you see in cities, all alone, left out to try and find their way for themselves with no one willing to help. what if you were that person? how would you feel? thinking about those answers makes you shiver at the thought of being alone. it really does make you appreciate how much you really have, and that you need to relish every thread of it, because who knows if it may all be taken away from you one day. and i have some of the best people in the world by my side; the6, family, and other friends. the six, in particular, some of them i have known for over 8 years. it's truly amazing to me at times how great my friends are. how we usually treat each other, the bond that's unshakable, even though we may split up for periods of time, it always comes around in the end. and all our inside jokes, they all mean something so special its just like, unfathomable. its just aah! its great that i have all these people in my life. (: i love you all so so much!

•remotely interesting updates!;
Christmas vacation was pretty great. shopping, friends, new 6 movie (which i'm still perfecting), relaxing, family. everything. just wow, i like 2 week breaks from school.
FYI: for everyone who is trying to call/text me, i dropped my phone in an icy snowbank and now it's completely dead, so i won't be replying anytime soon on that phone haha. but i am getting a new phone soon, so stay tuned, i won't be gone long.
here's a few glimpses at my vacation:

school is so boring. except for the few times when i get to see the people i love, then school's pretty lively and great. just you know, minus the homework and waking up early. the first week back was good. short, but good. haha, it was short because of the snowday on wednesday, and my being absent on thursday, due to my unconsciousness spells. but overall it was a pretty good week. except for the homework i have for science. there's so much. i hate iiit. and i haven't done any of it, even though i was going to like, a couple hours ago, but its all good, i drop science tomorrow (: auditions for "Once Upon A Mattress" start tomorrow. gosh, how i hate that musical. eeew hahah. i'm a little nervous about auditions, but mostly anxious and excited to get back on stage and be with my other friend spectrum again. hopefully my sickness can hold off until after the singing auditions, because, i really dont want to sound like a dying toad. it's really not my style. but i'm just gonna watch a bunch of really real show episodes, and pump up my confidence, and get my energies flowing. and if i have to break out my nadaddy ninja moves, i will. on friday night, me and taylor went to stephanie's basketball game at darrow vs. miss halls. the entire six was supposed to come, but oh well. she had us, her mom, taylor's mom, bryanna, and tyler. so her fan club was a good size (: i wore my shirt, which had some additions to it haha. and after the game, taylor, her mom, and i went to applebees, where we spoke in british accents. from there, taylor came over my household and we watched old stages videos. hahah, and noticed things quite embarassing. it was pretty hilarious.

so anyway, my life is looking up right now, and i like it.
i challenge you all to re-examine yourself this week, and see the things you'd like to see yourself change or grow in. now, i don't mean, go out and completely re-invent yourself to an entirely different person that's not you. just do what you think is rational, for you. it may help you in the long run.

so, heres the deal.

i didnt meet all of family force 5. but i did meet xanadu.
and bytheway; hugged him. thats right. i hugged the hype-man-extraordinaire (:
and i guess i kinda met soul glow. like not conversation meeting, but still, saying hi's neat.
aand, i sorta met crouton. like, i said hi. and he was like, heey! and then a security guard told us to get out..
so i met half of them!

which is still pretty stinkin' sick.

i just thought i'd let everyone know that things
are going quite lovely in my life right now.
in like every department.
i'm not saying everything's completely great, but its a lot better.

Christmas is almost here (1 week, 6 days)!

today was our second snowday in a row.
but, theres no snow?
it's great. they should postpone school for rain more often.
we'd never be in the place then though haha.
but i guess they made a good call with today's "snowday",
since there were like a bunch of power outages,
trees down, & ice everywhere in the hilltowns.

Urban Outfitters opened in Northampton.
i'm going on a major shopping spree in Northampton next weekend,
and the town's going to be so pretty in the (hopefully?) snow,
and with the lights and such.

friends are getting along better.

okay. so i know i haven't bogged in quite some time now, but well i've been busier than busy. there were 4 hour play rehearsals, get-togethers, parties, homework, and sickness. and then there was the play, and stuff. buut just like in past days, ill do a picture recap. because i have no life.

the play went really well opening night on thursday, november 15.

friday night, however, not so much.
friday night was our worse show. no one had like, any energy and it just wasn't the usual us. which was weird. buut then we went to friendlys. taconic's drama club was there too haha. i love friendlys (:

finally, our last show on saturday was a huuge success. everything was fixed and we did everything so much better. my scene was probably the best ever. and everyone just did so good, and the audience actually responded which was really fulfilling in itself. after the play was over, we all got changed, put our costumes on the rack one last time, and went to nate's house for the cast party. it was one intense party. rockband 2. omg can i just say how amazing veronica, cody, and i are at singing? seriously. we ownnn.

then, on saturday, november 22; stephanie!, ashley, taylor, and i went to amanda's birthday party. well her at home portion of the party. at ken's bowl, it was stephanie!, tina, lucy, alana, amanda, and i. i won the first game of bowling which was like, a first for my life. amazing.

at the home party, we watched the 6's movie on stephanie's laptop which was amazing, and great, and spectacular, and hugely hilarious, and touching, and sentimental, and musical. i kinda miss the old days while watching that video. but oh well haha.at least we have our memories right? right. anyway, after we watched the video, we took like hundreds of pictures of ourselves on stephanie's webcam ahaha. oh man, was that ever fun. (: i love my friends.

im exactly 14 years & 3 months old (:
dance or die & fast times at barrington high came out today.
i bought dance or die & fast times at barrington high
ive listened to dance or die & and fast times at barrington high at least 5 times each already (:
i also bought some hip tracks from bands such as: edison glass, secret & whisper, and far-less.
they bring joy to my soul :D

i also got my hair dyed today. it was also cut, but its basically the same style.
keeping my natural red hair on top, i had the underneath dyed dark brown, and i had one coon tail done, except apparently blond hair dye hates me and wouldnt stick in my hair, so the coon isnt that vibrant and out there, but its still there! hahah (: it looks siiick if i do say so myself.

nooow, to go back in time!
i went to nyc on august 9th with my family, and veronica and her family on a buuus.
my ipod touch broke on the way there ): it made veronica and i quite sadddd):
hahah. while in the citaaay, i went to the south street seaport and went to the mall at pier 17, went to the international yo-yo competition, and saw the new york city waterfalls by boat on the east river. (:
then i bought 3 pairs of sunglasses, a $100 tanktop (:, a dress, a sweater, and of course an "i ♥ ny" shirt (: on the way home veronica had a laughing attack hahahhaha & then we drew pictuuuuures! hahah FAIRIES! ITS THE FAIRY BATH! FAIRY GAS STATION! :D hahahha

also, before i was off to nyc for the day, the week before was pleasant as well.
on august 3rd, vee and i went to the ethnic fair with her daddy-o and his gf.
it was fuuuun(: hahah we ate like 842349863924 deserts and we saw birds and owls (:

then on tuesday, august 5, i went to taylors for some intense funnnn. :D we danced to my main man by patrick watson (aka mr. west) hahah. and we watched hannah montana and the jobros. then we rolled around on the floor laughing (haha we actually rotfl) for like 10 minutes. or i did anyway.... hahah taylor has a video of it. it may cause nightmares and bedwetting to infants, children under the age of 9, or people with weak bladders & have never seen an R rated movie EVER, who are also balding and live with their parents.

then on wednesday, august 6th, me, taylor, stephanie, and ashley went to see the sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 premier at the mall. (: it was great fuuun, especially when someone in front of us screamed out: "LOOK AT THOSE TATAS!!"

theeen on friday, august 8th, i went to taylors once agaaain (:
it was raining. and she decided she wanted to go frolic around her house in the pouring rain. so she did hahah. then we went to the mall and saw carley with her friend lauren, then we went to target to get my new nancy drew game (dont hate :D) hahah and then we were walking in this toy aisle where there was a bunch of like baby dolls. and so we're just walking along minding our own business, talking to each other, when all of a sudden allllllll of the baby dolls in the aisle started talking/crying/whining/wailing/laughing/Godknowswhat! OMGOSHOMGOSH. it was one of the scariest things ive ever witnessed in my life (next to the haunted house at a nursing home when i was like 6, and they pretended to chop someones foot off and it went flying at me and i caught it then ran outside crying) hahah. so then we just booked it for the cash register hahahaha(:

now for events after nyc, but before today haha (:
on thursday, august 14th, i went to taylors house for an hour or so to converse and such (:
we looked through the book she was reading, which was highly inappropriate i must add.
then vee picked me up there and i went to her house where we hung out with zach and adaaaaaam. hahah(: it was dandyyyy.

okaay so a lot has gone doown since my last post.
here's a pictuure & caption recap.

after a tiring 4th day at stages, i went over young taylor's household to chill and play cosmic catch. then myself and my good friends stephanie and veronica, went to the malll (: we had tonnnns of funn (: ie; cutout picture thingys at fye, accessory trying on and shopping for taylor at claires, and eating at pretzel time. &;.

the next day, after an equally draining day at stages, veronica, stephanie, taylor, and myself went to the mall to see mama mia! and to hang out. however, mother nature had other plans.. a gigantic thunder & lightning storm that knocked out the power at the mall, knocked down like 0954327432 trees and such, and made everything gloooomy. so the mall was like extremelyyyy busy because it was the premiers of the dark knight, AND mama mia! two highly anticipated movies. so we like wandered around the mall for an hour, waiting for my dad to pick us up and bring us to my house. but no one knew where my dad went so they closed the mall and we had to go outside because it was an "emergency". so there we were just standing on the sidewalk with like 1000 other mallers with craig. hahaha. then my dad came and we had to go through hinsdale to get to my houuse because a treee was blocking my road. when we finallly got to my houuse, we hung out in my room and they all went shopping in "emma's closet" hahah. and then we sang along with this barbie dancing microphone thing. then because of me and vee doing willy wonka this year, we decided to break the rules set by pam, and watch charlie and the chocolate factory (: the original. haha we had fun chugging down popcorn, rice crispy treats, and an assortment of fizzy-pops (; ahah. so then we sang along well, me, vee, and taylor sang along since stephaniiiie had never seen it before! and then, there was the magical coins.. one dropped down on taylor, she freaked out, then steph freaked out, thenn the coin disappeared, and another coin, now a dime not a nickel or quarter, dropped down and they spazzed again. hahaha. the mischief coin maker turned out to be veronica. woooo. then after willy, we watched some of the good parts in Stages05's Honk! hahhaha ohmann. it was killler. (: then i drove them home, and i went to bed.

the next day was saturday, and later that night, the 4 of us went to the hinsdale block dance. (: it was reallly trashy, boring, wet, and dark dank and dimmm. hahah but we still had funnn! because we had each other to keep us company, and thats better than 489324923 people combined. so we sat on the bleachers and vegged. we occasionally got up to get food, or to run for cover from the rain, or to walk to renzi's to pee. haha (: we saw geno, pam, and maggie thuuuur! hahah. and all throughout this time, stephanie and i were wearing our fake nerd glasses from claires (: which was an annoyance to veronica :D OH! and dr. hanson went up on stage with smartass and sang & dance, which was pretty scary.. hahah. and all through the time we were there i had "tell your boyfriend if he says he's got beef, that im a vegetarian, and i ain't fucking scared of him. she wants to touch me wahoo, she wants to love me wahoo, she'll never leave me wahoo, wahoo hoo. dont trust a ho. never trust a ho. wont trust a ho, cause the ho wont trust me." from "Dont Trust Me" by 3OH!3 stuckkkkk in my heaadd! it was sooo annoying! asfdklhaslfxcz,a. ahah. but overall it was a pretty fun night, and the fireworks were suuuper!

haha this may look so weird, but on the evening into night of monday, july 21, 2008, veronica and i were over taylor's for a cheer-up taylor get-together (: hopefully it worked (i think it did :D). we had disney story time, ate fudge, ate cookies, drank green tea, played a junglebook video game, rolled around, had a bbq, talked, went to friendlys for sundaes, danced around like idiots, sang, made up our own songs, and put stickers on our legs [as shown above (left to right : taylor's leg, my leg, vee's leg)]. i have to say it was a fun niight. (:

on the 24th, a thursday, the thursday before stages' final performances, taylor's mother had to get her hair done all spiffy-like (: ahah. so taylor came to my houuse! and we watched my 6movie. (yes theyre coming out soon, dont worry people) and then we found this book i got in 4th grade that me and taylor filled out like every year since 04. and so we yet again filled it out (: hahah our aspirations and such back then were extremely whack. hahah. then we danced around to sclub & now 7 (: and played dress up (: hahah it was great! :D

the next day was the performance day at stages. Willy Wonka Jr tiiiiiime! (: hahah
and so omggosh. the play went great! i didnt mess up (: yay! but someone moved my prop and i couldnt find it so there was no chocolate bar before "cheer up charlie" in the second show. but the first show was filmed and is going to be on tv hahah (: the last lunch was great. kevin's auction on the wonka bar, chad and the tapioca pudding, the giant bug in emily's lunch box, and just the last laughs of the cool kids made this summer great (:

later on that day, i went to taylor's house for her birthday shindig.
it was fuuun(: there were waterballoons, movies, pizza, and friends (:

on sunday, July 27th, me and vee ventured to stephanies and we went adventuuuuring on the island on the lake (: while paddle-boating out to the island, we had fun hearing our echos (: hahahah. vee:"STEPHANIE LIKES GIRLS!" echo:"LIKES GIRLS!" steph: "STEPHANIE DOESNT LIKE GIRLS!" echo: "DOESNT LIKE GIRLS!" hahahah (: and the duckies! :D hahha. then when we got back, we went shopping in stephanie's drawers (: it was quite the fun night! the day after that, on monday, veronica and i went to go see mama mia! and check out the new hollister. hahah (: the movie was really good(: go buy a couple tracks from itunes, yo.

aaaand finally, to bring you into the present day, which is Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
im quite bored right now.
im probably going to be forced into going to live on the lake tonight, in the rain most likely.
i have to shower in like five minutes.
my computer hates me.
only like 19 days until dance or die, and fast times at barrington high comes out.
10 days until nyc.
22 days until i see alexxxxxxxxxx & jack (:
and about a month and probably a week until freshman year at wahconah starts.
and guess what?
when we go back to school, everything is going to be messed up.
and no ones to blame, but thats just how its gonna be.
however, we can prevent this from happening if people would actually listen to each other.
but whateverr.
its summer 08. the last summer "as a child"
and we need to make it count.
and i for one, know i am.

yesterday, amanda and i went to the great escape (:
it was crazyassfun.
&; i didnt get sunbuuurn!
but it was soo funny.
we were just like walking around and i saw these kids
and i cant lie, they were decent (: hahah
and so then we were walking again with my dad to get a locker, and we saw them again.
so we were like ohmy!
and thenn we walked a bit and those kids & their dad/chaperone/whatever was getting a locker where we were getting ours.
it was crazy hahah.
while we were putting away our stuff they were planning stuff for their day behind us.
and well, i overheard some stuff.
not my fault that i have eavesdropping in my genes.
so yeah they were gonna go on the rides and stuff first, then meet back at the lockers around 1ish.
then they were gonna go eat.
then they were gonna hit up the water park.
so when we were about to go about the park, my dad asks so whats the plan for today?
we ended up having the same plan as them.
hahah. but the odds of us running into them at the exact same time at the lockers again was kinda weak.
so yeah we did rides and stuff and it was around12ish so we went back to the lockers to get money for lunch.
&guess who was there?
the guys.
WHAT?!
apparently they were ready to eat at the same time.
weeiirdtothemaximuum, yes?
yes.
so then blahblahblah we ate lunch and got ready to go to the water park.
when we got back to the locker. they were there AGAIN!
then we went off to the water rides & such and that was fuuun. (:
and then while we were walking over the bridge thing, who was walking in front of us?
those guys!
(you could tell by this kid's bathing suit that was like rainbow polka dots)
(hahahah)
and then we went to put our stuff down, and they disappeared!
so then we thought they left and so we were at our lockers and their dad got stuff out and then left.
so we thought yeah, the definitely left now.
and as we were walking towards the entrance/exit area-ish (well, by the chicken chalet),
we saw them!
it was craazy! and then we stopped for a second and we looked back and they were gone!
then we walked towards the merry-go-round, and they were in front of us!
and then we looked down for a second, and they were gone again!
then once we were out in the parking lot we looked up at the big walking bridge thing, and they were up there!
that was the most confusing/craziest/weirdest thing ever.
hahaha.

&then on the bus ride home, i fell asleep hahah (:

on sunday i got my haircut and it looked really bad on the bangs, so last night i tried a different style, and i liiike iit (: haha
aaagh.

tonight (in 15 minutes) i have to go to the wake.
and stand for 3 hours while old people ive never seen before in my life hug me.

buut yeah, lots of relatives here now. thats fun.
and im seriously going to need to go on a diet next week after all this food ive eaten and im going to eat this week.

Mary Ellen Ward 1922 - 2008 PITTSFIELD

Mary Ellen Ward, 85, formerly of 670 Crane Ave. and Colonial Gardens, died Sunday, June 8, at Sugar Hill in Dalton. Born in Omaha, Neb., on Oct. 31, 1922, daughter of Jesse and Ruth Marie Rower Bowlegs, she was a 1940 graduate of North High School. She also graduated from the University of Nebraska. She was a member of Phi Delta Phi at Omaha University.
Mars. Ward was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Pittsfield, a former member of St. Francis Rosary Sodality, and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She was a volunteer at Hancock Shaker Village, the Veterans Outreach Center, the Veterans Hospital in Leeds, and the American Red Cross. Her husband, James D. Ward, whom she married Nov. 8, 1944 in St. Mary Magdalene's Church in Omaha, died Nov. 12, 2001. She leaves five sons, Lawrence Ward of Dalton, Dennis Ward of Springfield, Jeffrey Ward of Clifton Park, N.Y., Douglas Ward of Peterborough, N.H., and Christopher Ward of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Colleen Thumm of Denver and Karen Ward of Maui, Hawaii, 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Jennifer French, died February 2002.

okay, so my grandma sadly, like realllly sadly died last night.
i was supposed to see her this morning, since i had to go to stephanie's party. and ive been so busy lately, with the carnival, parties, and other activities that i hadnt been able to see her in two weeks. and i knew that the cancer was starting to weaken her body more and more each day. and the doctors said she would probably have 2 weeks to a month to live. and i knew it would be painful when she did pass on, but i would have more time to spend with her and make her last days on earth happy ones. but she passed before i had the chance. and i know this is untrue. and my common sense tells me so, but i cant help but feel guilty. guilty because i didnt make the time to see her. uugh. its really painful. she was the closest relative besides my parents. and now shes gone. and it just seems like a dream. a dream i desperately want to wake up from, but cant. i know she wanted us all to be happy, and reminisce about the good 'ol times. and theres no doubt that we will. and with her having 8 children (7 still alive), and that means many, many, maaany grandchildren and such. so everyone who lives out of town (which is basically everyone) are fighting over when they should book everything, who is staying where, when can people stay at our house, which priest we should use, what kind of reception, how many people, what day of the week, and flight plans. and i guess all this flustering about, and nit-picking over the fine details of the festivities is better than sitting around mourning. mourning wont help anyone. its the cycle of life, and everything feigns. as sad as it may be, we must accept that. and grieving will occur, and Kleenex will be an accessory & staple, but we will move on, and thats just what my grandma wanted. at 85 with lung cancer, we knew it was evident. but now she's up in heaven with her husband and i do believe her care-free spirit will still live on here on earth. when my dad picked me up from stephs last night and went to sugar hill, when my dad walked into her room, the hospice nurse was there and apparently she was "talking jibberish" but my dad could make out somewhat of what she was saying. and she was talking to her husband who had passed away in 2002. and some people say that its just because the person is losing consciousness, but i really believe that she was talking to him, and he was responding, and welcoming her home. but whats even more weird is that for the past week sort-of, ive been having really strange dreams about random things, like graduation, dances, carnival, school, friends and other things, but in all of them, i would have a flashback to when i was little and my grandma was holding me, playing with me, or just sitting with me or something. but i do really really strongly believe she is at peace. and ready to watch over the generations of wards to come.

stephanies party was full of fun&&joy!

yuuus. moving onn.. umm then amanda left, and it was tragic. but then we went in the lake kinda hahah. then we played truth or dare. and when you answered a truth or did a dare, you would get a sparkler! hahah it was great.

another story out of the vault--just for you! from 2005. i seriously dont know why i wrote this one. haaha but here it is:

The Rare Journey.

One normal day at the academy where I was learning to be a scuba-diver, I would put my knowledge to the test! That day was Wednesday; I was just getting out of class when I heard a girl shout out “Maria!”

It was my friend Callie. When she finally caught up with me she said “So did you see old Professor Morgan’s bulletin board?”

“No”

“Well, you, Sam, and I are going on a once-in –a –lifetime journey to pirate Longnails underwater grotto to look for rare species of fish! We’ll actually get to use our knowledge!”

“Really! That’s so cool. When is it?”

“Two weeks from now. I talked to him after class and he said it will probably be a week long.”

. . . . .

“Is everyone ready?” Professor Morgan said as they were getting on the ship.

As we were speeding along we noted all kinds of marine animals that swam along with the boat that were longing to play. “Now I can see why so many people are drawn to the seashore, it’s so beautiful! I can see right through the aqua-marine colored water with the foaming suds from the crashing waves to the ocean floor’s beauty!” I said.

“You’re right Maria, but it’s even more ravishing down in that floor of wonders!” Professor Morgan said with wonder in his eyes.

Splash! When we got in the water we headed out in search for Pirate Longnails underwater cavern. When we got there we swam around for about twenty minutes when Sam shouted out I found a Betta White! We recorded it and it wasn’t long until we found a Pink Dart goby.

After finding other rare species of fish we swam back up to where the boat was waiting for us. On the boat we put more air in our scuba tanks, ate lunch, and then got ready to dive again.

After we got back to the grotto we found other kinds and noted them down on our waterproof clipboards a Spikefin goby, a small school of Trimma, some Pearl Dace, a Quillback, a few Unicorn Crestfish, several Ribbon fish, and other rare fish.

Later after that week, and we were back we were asked so many questions about our rare journey to Longnails cave. We gladly answered these, but we knew that the important thing was that we got out there in the middle of the Indian Ocean and went in search of the famous Longnails cavern to look for some of the most endangered fish in the world and get to study them. That’s what will always stick with us NOT the popularity or fame.

That was our rare journey into the ocean!

i also got this out of the vault from last year. this was my 7 page short story for LA. and my entry into the Berkshire County Annual Writing Contest. it's a little corny, but its kinda good haha (: so here it iiis:

Rejectables

What if you had been rejected by your circle of friends, at the same exact time as 5 other kids in your same exact school, you didn’t know any of them, but you all had one thing in common—rejection.

Stacy Maurner had just come out of 3rd period class (science) and she was already very ticked off at the world. For she had gotten yet another C- on a science quiz, and if she kept this up, she’d never be accepted into UC Berkeley. She was punk, but not too abnormal. She had a regular group of best friends, was liked by many other people, and had a very lovely boyfriend Edward who was from the drama crowd. Why then, was she rejected?

Edward Lozano was what they called a drama-geek. Meaning that he was constantly getting lead roles in all the school’s plays, and did a spanking good job at it (always received a standing ovation). He had just gotten out of his free period class (rehearsal for the school musical) when he walked over to his girlfriend Stacy who was once again grieving the loss of another A and the gain of another C. Edward was loved by most of the school, and had only 1—or rather 4—enemies. They were: Sherri, Muffi, Karri, and Sherri’s little sister Chauntelle. Even though he had these enemies, he wasn’t alone… they were basically everybody’s enemy. Why then was he rejected?

Agnes Stocholme had just walked out of her advanced calculus class when she was jumped by the school’s biggest bully, Rex. He demanded for the homework in all the classes except—no wait…there was no “except for”—he demanded it from all classes, including gym. Seeing as she was the smartest kid ever recorded in their town called Innersville, she was always the target of beef-brained bullies who’s peanut sized brains can’t even fathom the concept of homework. Anyways, after a painful jab in the arm by Rex, her boyfriend Rocky (the school’s biggest jock) got him off her back. She had few friends, but the support of every sports team in the school. Why then was she rejected?

Rocky Martin was walking out of the men’s locker room after his personal training session with the football coach when the entire football team playfully tackled him in the hallway. He was lovable, adorable, smart, funny, charismatic, and of course, athletic. Having all of these qualities would make him popular, now wouldn’t it? The million dollar question is: if he was so popular, why then was he rejected?

Chauntelle Doleman was part of her sister Sherri’s posse. She was one of the most popular girls in school. She was dating Bobbert who was the lead bassoon player in the school’s acclaimed jazz band. As she was coming out of a routine powdering in the powder room, she was stopped by Huge McTallGuy (the school gym teacher). He was also the assistant cheerleading coach (which she was the captain of). He stopped her so as to remind her of an extended practice scheduled for that night. She thanked him and walked on down the hallway, making it seem as if she were going to 4th period biology class, but instead she met up with her sister and posse to ditch class. She was well- known, pretty, popular and rich. Why then was she rejected?

Bobbert Loosinger had just sat down on the bus when he realized that he had forgotten his bassoon. This meant trouble for him at school if his mom didn’t bring it in the next 15 minutes, so he got out his cell phone and dialed the all-too familiar number of his mom’s work number. “Hello” the person at the receiving line said after about 7 rings.
“Yes, hello, is Mrs. Loosinger there, please?”
“One moment.”
After several minutes of anxious waiting, his mom finally picked up the phone. “Hello, Bobbert?”
“Yeah. Hi mom. Uhmm…I kinda forgot my bassoon at home…again.”
“Oh my Bobster, when are you ever going to learn? Sure I’ll pick it up for you. I’m going on a snack break right now anyways. I’ll drop it off in about 8 minutes.”
“Thanks a lot mom.”
“No problem, just don’t forget it again. See you after school.”
“Bye”
“Bye” he hung up. Maybe it wasn’t going to be such a bad day after all. He had one of the most popular girls in school as his girlfriend, he was already a critically- acclaimed bassoonist, and had scholarships from over 11 colleges. Why then was he rejected?

…. These 6 kids will be rejected by their school because of one (or shall I say 3) people didn’t like the way different social classes and clicks were smelting together. With no one else there to support them, they must come together , set aside their differences, and will eventually form a band that will become famous, not only for their songs, harmony, and lyrics, but for the result of their coming together. The school has never seen anything like it before… the “Rejectables” will change the way the grueling school social aspects work, and set the foundation for generations of geeks, punks, cheerleaders, jocks, actors, and wood-wind prodigies to come.

Stacy was at her locker when her so-called best friend, Claire came up to her and flat out told her that they (meaning her and the rest of their little group of friends) couldn’t be friends with her any longer. “What?” Stacy asked in amazement and anger.
“Umm…yeah…sorry Stace, but it had to be done.” Claire explained.
“What?!” Stacy replied.

“I’m sorry.” Claire repeated as she walked away.
Dumbfounded, Stacy walked off to 4th period.

It wasn’t any better for Edward either. He was on his way out of the boy’s changing room after play rehearsal when his best friend of 9 years came up to him and said “Hi Edd! Errr…this is kinda hard for me to tell you, but we can’t hang out together anymore…I’m sorry.”
Edward just looked at his friend in utter astonishment. “C’mon Danny. Danny my granny named Franny! We’re pals! Are you trying out for a part in a show like Punk’d? I mean, you can’t be serious! Can you?”

“So Sorry. Gotta go. Bye.” Danny said.

Appalled, Edward walked off to class.

Agnes had been at her locker fixing her glasses when one of her 4 friends came over to her. “Hey Sandra!” Agnes said.

“Hey Agnes.”

“Is something wrong, Sandra? You look a bit distracted.”

“Huh? What? Sorry. Uh, Agnes…?

“Yes?”

“I’m so sorry Agnes, but we can no longer be friends.”
Agnes could feel the tears welling up in her eyes. She only hoped that no one saw. “You’re joking right?

“I’m sorry.” Sandra said. With that she walked away, leaving Agnes behind in the dust.

Rocky was showing off his new football moves in the hallway when his team approached him. “Hey buds!” cried out an exuberant Rocky.

“Hello.” was the muted answer of the team.

“Haha…c’mon guys! What’s the quietness ‘bout? Hmmmm…? What’s wrong?”

His best friend, Jeffree then took Rocky aside and whispered “Hey Rockmeister. It’s sorta hard for me to tell ya this seeing as we’ve been buds since we were in diapers, but I don’t think it would be such a good idea if we remained friends.”
“Huh?”

“Sorry Rock, but it’s just not a good idea. We’ll still be on the field together though.”

“Does the rest of the team feel the same way?”

“Yeah.”

“OK.”

“So you’re ok with it?”

“Well, no. I mean, what did you expect?”

“You’re right. I’m sorry, it’s just—it’ll work out better this way.”

“Whatever you say.” Rocky said. He had to keep telling himself to pull it together and act like a man, or he was going to explode like the overripe watermelon they had thrown off the school’s roof just a few months before.

“Bye man.”

“Bye.” And with that, the team and Rocky went their separate ways.

Chauntelle was at her locker fixing her hair when her sister and her posse came up to her. “Hey gals.” she greeted them with.

“Hi.” Sherri (her sister) said.

“What’s up?”

“Nothing much, we just don’t think hanging out with you is good for our image.”

“Excuse me?”

“Sorry sis.” And with that Sherri left on a sour note with Chauntelle.

Bobbert was just coming out of the office, carrying his bassoon when Todd, his best friend and fellow bassoonist came up to him. “What’s crackalackin’ my buddy ‘ol pal?” Bobbert said using their usual inside joke of a greeting.

“Hey Bobbert.” Todd replied.

“Is there something wrong? You’re usually the talkative one, not me.”

“Bobbert, we can’t be friends anymore.”

Silence. Finally Bobbert said “Really? What did I do?”

“You didn’t do anything–”

“Then why can’t we be friends?” Bobbert interrupted.

“It’s not you; it just needs to be this way. I’m sorry.”

“Ok. Whatever. I’m sure you are. I gotta get to class. Bye.” Bobbert said as he turned around the corner.

2 MONTHS LATER…

At prom they were the wall-flowers, the kids who aren’t welcomed onto the dance floor because of social stature. The girls were glaring at one another, and the guys were glaring at one another. You may be wondering how in the world these kids could come together and get along, am I right? Of course I am. Anyways, it’s pure and simple; they put aside their differences and become one.

“That’s it!” exclaimed Chauntelle. “I’ve had enough of this! We have no one else to turn to, but each other. Let’s at least try and get along.”

“Pfft. Like that’s really gonna happen.” Stacy retorted.

“C’mon you guys, maybe we should give it a try.” Rocky said.

“Rocky, stop trying to be the hero by trying to end feuds, it’s just plain annoying.” Bobbert said.

“Maybe we could try it for at least one day and see how it goes.” Agnes said shrugging her shoulders.

“Hmmmph. Sure. What-ev.” they all muttered at once.

And try they did. And it worked a little bit, but not all that well due to bugs in the system. One day when they were all at Stacy’s house for a study group session, they were all sitting scattered around her room when after about 30 minutes of inspecting; Agnes asked “Hey Stacy, what’s up with all the guitars in the room?”

“Oh those? Those are just some guitars my grandpapa got from this old, run-down, hippie, second-hand guitar shop. When I got those I was 8. They were the only friends I had in the world then. Even though they were broken and un-usable; I still kept them as is until we moved from Ohio to here in sunny California. Then I began to refurbish them. Now they’re all tricked-out and dapper.”

“Wow.” Agnes said. They didn’t know this, but what was coming towards them in their future was huge.

The next day, they were waiting around in the school’s music room for Bobbert to finish his private bassoon lessons when out of nowhere Rocky of all people asked “Hey! Do you guys want to start a band?”

They all turned to look at Rocky. “Come again?” Chauntelle asked.

“I said, maybe we should start a band, you know, for fun. Maybe to earn a little money…you know, for college…?” Rocky said.

“No, you mean you want to earn yourself some money. Right?” Stacy argued.

“No…well yes, but that doesn’t mean you guys wouldn’t earn anything. We’d split the profits. Whaddaya say?”

“Hmmm…I don’t know Rocky. It seems kind of pointless. I mean, how do you know any of us have real musical talents. Well, besides Bobbert.” Agnes said.

Bobbert then walked into the room. “What? I heard my name. What’re you guys talking about?”

“Rocky wants to form a band so that he can get rich.” Edward chimed in.

“NO! Jeez you guys, how many times am I going to have to tell you? It’s for all of us. Not just me. And who knows we may even enjoy it.”

“Maybe we should give it a shot.” Stacy said, beginning to agree.

“Whatever. But how are we gonna know who’s gonna do what in the band?” Chauntelle pointed out.

“Well, since I had a lot of spare time on my way from Ohio, I did pick up some guitar skills on good ‘ol Roger. And I’ve been taking voice lessons since I was about 6.” Stacy put in.

“Who’s Roger?” Chauntelle asked.

“Roger is that turquoise, black, white, and silver checkered electric guitar with the unicorn decal on it. You know, the one hanging over my bed in my room?”

“Oh. So you’re saying you can play guitar and sing, right?” Chauntelle verified.

“Yep. But I don’t know if I can sing, you can be the judge of that.” she laughed.

They laughed along. “You guys know that I can play bassoon, right? But did you know that I can also play bass guitar.” Bobbert stated.

“Ok. Cool. So does anyone know how to play drums?” Edward asked.

“I do. Kinda. My cousin gave me his old drum set last Christmas, and I can play fairly good.” Rocky answered.

“Okay. I know how to play guitar also.” Edward said.

“And I can play the piano or keyboard.” Agnes spoke up. “What about you Chauntelle? What instrument do you play, or do you sing?”

“I can play a little guitar.”

“Ok. We’re all set then.” Then she pulled out a piece of notebook paper and began writing in her fine handwriting:

· Stacy~ vocals

· Chauntelle~ acoustic guitar/background vocals

· Edward~ electric guitar

· Bobbert~ bass guitar

· Me (Agnes)~ keyboard/background vocals

“Great. So we’re all set. Tomorrow at my house? 10 AM?” Edward asked.

“Yup. See ya then.” Rocky answered.

They exchanged their good-byes. Meanwhile around the corner, Sherri, Muffi and Karri were watching. Sherri had been flabbergasted by the thought of the school rejects performing for money. I mean, how good could they possibly be? Little did she know, the “Rejectables” as they affectionately named their band, had a few tricks up their own sleeves.

The next day they all met up at Edward’s house for a rehearsal. They brought all their instruments and they set up in his backyard patio, next to his pool. Stacy and Edward had been writing songs since before they could remember, so they already had songs. They just needed to teach it to the rest of the band and hope they like them. They had been practicing the third song of the day when his next- door- neighbor (who just happened to be the owner of a well known club that hosts new, aspiring artists and bands) walked outside to do some hedge-clipping. “Ahh…young Ed I see we now have a motley crew on our hands. Haha! You youngsters sound good. Our opening act just cancelled for next weeks show, would you be interested?”

“Sure Mr. Edgewoddem. That’d be great. Thanks a lot.” Edward answered.

“Great! You’ll need to show up for rehearsal at 6: 00 pm next Thursday. By the way, the gig is next Friday at 7: 30 pm. Talk to you soon. Bye!”

“Bye!” they all shouted.

“Wow. Can you believe that? On our second day as a band, we get a gig!” Agnes exclaimed.

“Yeah. It’s great.” Chauntelle said a bit glumly.

“Umm… you didn’t seem so enthused about that. Why, may I ask?” Stacy asked.

“It’s just that I know my sister will try and meddle with our gig plans. She doesn’t want the different social groups to be mixed. And by our coming together and playing at the Rumour Room--which just so happens to be the most popular Friday night club for juniors--will threaten her and her little posse’s plans for total school domination.”

“Wow. Let’s just hope that her plans don’t work out as well as she plans. And hopefully good will triumph over evil once more. No offence Chauntelle.” Edward said.

“None taken. I mean, if we didn’t have the same last name and same parents then you wouldn’t even know we were related. We’re, like, so much different, like two completely different people.”

“I still can’t believe she rejected her own sister. I mean, c’mon. Seriously.” Rocky said.

She just shrugged her shoulders.

“Yeah…” he responded. They all then just drifted off into their thoughts.

Rehearsal Night at the Rumour Room…

Finally after a weeks wait, it was the night of their rehearsal at the Rumour Room. They had learned an astonishing 12 songs, (about 45 minutes) and they sounded phenomenal. They just hoped that the audience of peers would hear their music, like it and most importantly get the message that they were trying to send—that it doesn’t matter which social group you come from, you should be able to mingle, not tied down to one group. “Hey Mr. Edgewoddem! We’re here and ready to show you our stuff.” Bobbert said while entering the joint.

“Good! Now lets get set up—NO! NO! NO! Billy Jim, that is NOT where the mics go!—Excuse me for one second, will you? You can make yourself comfortable over there on the couches.” Mr. Edgewoddem said as he walked away grumbling about Billy Jim’s set up techniques.

“Wow. We made it guys.” Stacy said. “We’re finally here and ready to prove our point.”

“I know. Amazing isn’t it?” Agnes agreed.

“Totally.” Chauntelle consented.

“Do you think it’s really gonna work?” asked Edward.

“Who knows.” Bobbert shrugged.

Just then, Mr. Edgewoddem came into the room and said “ready for rehearsal?”

“You bet!” they all said in unison.

“Peachy Keen! Now if you’d just follow me into the ‘concert hall’ and we can get started.”

They followed him into what he affectionately the concert hall, which was a small stage with a few seats on the side walls and a fairly good sized standing pit. They walked up onto the stage and looked out into the vacant club and felt the sweet buzz of almost every emotion in their bodies resurface at once. They saw the instruments, and microphones set up behind them. They were really doing it! They picked up their instruments and began to rehearse song after song until after what had seemed like 5 minutes it was time to go. “See you tomorrow at 7: 00 pm don’t forget! Haha…I crack myself up.” Mr. Edgewoddem said as they were about to leave.

“One more day guys.” Stacy reminded in great anticipation.

After what seemed like a lifetime, it was finally here—performance night. They would try and prove their point and hope people would listen. After the first song, half the crowd was into the music and them. While the other half was still on the edge of whether or not to go back on Sherri and her gang. Sherri had her plans all set. Mick was in the rafters awaiting Sherri’s signal to let him know when to dump the giant bowl of spaghetti on them from above.

They had just finished their first song and were giving their speech telling them to forget what Sherri and her gang had to say and hang out with whom ever they wanted to, when Sherri gave the signal to Mick. As you can probably guess, he dumped the spaghetti on the unsuspecting musicians below. To the surprise of all, they began laughing. Their laughter seemed to be contagious, for it spread around the entire room. They weren’t laughing at them, but with them. It seemed that Sherri’s plan had failed, and what was worse was that she had gotten spaghetti sauce on her chiffon shirt. They had really done it! They had made a difference in the way the school’s social system worked. They were no longer “rejects,” but heroes. They closed the show with a bang—literally. The club’s electrical circuits blew and made a huge exploding noise. Luckily no one was harmed. “We did it you guys. We really did it!” they all cheered at the same time.

“I vote we have a celebration party at my house.” Chauntelle said.

“Great idea.” they all agreed except Bobbert.

“Bobbert? Can you come?” Chauntelle asked.

“Huh? I don’t know. There’s gonna be a lot of people…asking questions. And - and how do we know they’ve really changed?”

“We don’t. But come anyways. We can’t have a party without you.”

“Yeah! Come on Bobbert! It wouldn’t be a party without you.” everyone in the club roared.

“Ok. I’ll go.”

“Yay!” they all cheered.

So the “Rejectables” changed the school and are looked upon as heroes. They continue to rock out and have remained the closest of friends. Let this be a lesson unto you; it’s never too late to change something that’s not right. Stick up for it, and believe in yourself. Follow that and you’ll be golden.

i opened up the vault for this. i wrote this (and never finished it) in the beginning of fifth grade when i was obsessed with the book series "So You Want To Be A Wizard".

Chapter 1

Hello my name is Alyssa Mcaverage and well I am average, but on this day I wasn’t. I was running from some bullies when I stumbled upon a book. This book was no ordinary book for I would never be the same. Good-bye average!

I got down on my knees and picked up the book, I knew I had out run them for at least a half a mile. One of those people were my former best friend, her name was Mattie Patterson. She has been making fun of me ever since I got braces. I don’t have many friends so she likes to throw it in my face.

I picked up the book and ducked into an alley to take a look at the book. When I opened up the book I felt a sensational feeling of eagerness to read and flip the pages. Then I flipped back to the cover and the title was Do You Want to Be a Wizard? I couldn’t believe it, I put the book in my backpack and headed for home.

When I got home I headed straight for my room. My mom asked ‘‘what’s the rush, dinners almost ready.”

My sister Dari mimicked me and said ‘‘so did ‘ya beat ‘em up?”

At this my dad spoke up and said ‘‘Dari just because you want to be a jetti knight doesn’t mean your sister has to be one too.”

Then I spoke up and said ‘‘can I just go to my room and read?!?”

‘‘Okay sweetheart but not too long or your food will get cold.” My mom said.

I went up to look at the book. It opened up to a page with small bold letters on it. I read it to myself again, and again. Then I read it out loud, the wizard’s oath.

Then I flipped to the beginning and I just started reading when my mom called up to me ‘‘dinners ready.’’

At the dinner table Alyssa and her folks were eating pork chops when suddenly Alyssa thought of a good idea. She said to her family

): i feel like a big pile of cow plop right now.
i woke up like 15 minutes ago from a suuuuper weird dream, and last night my window was open a little bit, but i woke up with my comforter off, and i was only underneeath sheets. so i was like brrRrrRRRRrrr cold. so then i got up and went to the computer (obviously) and then i was like dizzy, shaking and like buuuurning hot. yuucky ewwie grosss. but now im freeeezing. D: im confuuused.

Once upon a time..
the entire blue team went on a field trip to greenland. and the team got broken up, and me, taylor, amanda, stephanie, anna, micaela, marisa, mrs. hagan (haha), mr west, tommy, nolli, mazeau, and hogue were still in a group. so we were venturing around greenland's country side area, and we came across a poor orphan farmer boy who was about 13 years old. he was wearing an olive green vest over a canvas shirt with brown puffy slacks. when we asked his name he said "pinky". we thought that was odd but didnt pry any further. he asked to come along and we let him. well what happened next was a little weird. we were on a piece of frozen tundra, and you could tell the permafrost was melting in the sun, and from global warming. and so we saw this little cave of ice and so we wanted to go look in it. so we did and we were basically kidnapped by an evil witch. she put us in her hot air balloon and we flew up to her fortress in the arctic. when we got there she put us through series of tests and only some people made it into the group she wanted. that group was me, taylor, micaela, amanda, marisa, nolli, pinky, anna, mr west, and stephanie. so she made the people who didnt make it construct a boat for us out of ice. it took about a week i think. and then she made us all get in and load it up with food and stuff. i asked her where we were going and she said that we were going to africa to see some lady about the school lunches served around the world. me and pinky talked on the way there and became friends. when we got there we ended up in a gym somewhere and there was a table set up with alllll kinds of food. and behind it, nearly smothered in it, was puka, the lady we were supposed to meet. so her and the evil witch (precilla) conversed briskly in native tongues as we children (and mr west) chowed down on the food. after they stopped talking precilla took me, taylor, and pinky aside and said that we would be in charge if she ever had to leave for a short period of time and that if we tried any funny business we would face some hardcore consequences. so then we flew the balloon to my house, and we were collecting stuff for precilla and then pinky came up with a great plan to get us all free. and so we started collecting stuff for our break out. when she came back she noticed that we might rebel. she tried to do something but we flew away faster than her powers could get us. we flew to her lair and got the rest of the original group and we went back to our hotel with the rest of Blue Team. we shared our story around the fireplace in the common room in the chateau. and then in walked a polar bear and atop it was pinky and pinky then joined our happy Blue Team.
And they all lived happily ever after.

okay, so all im really wondering is why all my favorite bands of all time are all breaking up. and whats weirder, is the fact that they both have a nate in them. and both nates are original members. but seriously, it had to be epic bands in my llife such as The Receiving End Of Sirens and The Format. (as shown above) its seriously killing me.

the story of how i came across The Format is a funny one actually.
it all started...
one day in music tech class, amanda was ill and therefore not in school. amanda was my partner in our sony acid project. so i was at our computer, and mr. garcia was like go to these websites and listen to some cheap music. and so most kids didnt, they played around on itunes, but i was like, hey! amandas not here so i dont have my mandarin podcast buddy, so why dont i check out this most likely cheezy site with bad indie bands. so i did. and i was about to give up and give into that "bad indie band" theory, but then, like last on the last page was a band called The Format. the picture they had of them wasnt that bad (like they werent terribly ugly, or anything) and their EP cover was snails. and i was like hey! this looks kinda cool. so i start listening to the song they had on there called "snails"... and long story short ive been hooked ever since.
the end.

and tonight i go check their myspace for tour dates, and find out theyre yet another band dispersing. they will never ever ever ever be forgotten. their music was truly unlike any other. they had such a unique sound. it could put me to sleep when i was tired but restless, and it could keep me up when i didnt want to sleep. haha either way, it always made you smile when you listened to their music.

aand they had like (in my opinion) theeee #1 band website. you could fly around the sky as a doggie, going to different platforms and doing different things. and the doggie could even peeeee on the fire hydrant. now i dont know about you but i think thats a pretty nifty site (: hahah and i even wrote nate a letter in "ask nate" ..but he never wrote back ): that made me sad haha. but no matter what happens to these guys, they will always go down in my history books as the best indie band EVER.

i love those guys.

ugh. theres been this horrible, wrenching pain in my left side of my torso for like 3 weeks now.
and boy does it KILL.
it hurt so bad last night that i could hardly breathe last night. for like an hour. so i watched the smurfs. i like the smurfs. theyre almost as corny as me, but you know what really gets me about the smurfs? its that they say like all their verbs are "smurf". so we'd usually say: go get me that vitamin water. they would say: go smurf me that vitamin water. akalsfj it buggs me sometimes haha.

okiiiedokieee!
soo today was a half day and the six (minus amanda)(do the math; 6-1=5)(so the five of the six) walked home to taylorrrs! then we crammed into her mommys car and went to rita maries on route 7 in lanesborough! while there we ate, drank, took pictures, danced, laughed, had a smörgåsbord of french fries and onion rings, and had ice creaaaaaaaaaam! then we drove like 2 meters down the road to bakers mini golf! mannnmaann, funnfunn! hahah ben and matt were there. ben mustve lied to us at school because he said he was going BOWLING. how is BOWLING anywhere near close to MINI GOLF? i dont know the answer to that quandary. uuuum mini golf was fun. there were good vibes and bad vibes towards hornets! D: veronica killed my foooooot, i spilled neon mint chocolate chip ice cream on my crotch, we took cute, adorable pictures/videos, went to the outhouse (vee went in the mens roooooooom! ..then the ladies. but then again, she is the big weener. hahah) (: we also mini golfed there :D it was a great enjoyment! i love my friends. uum then we went on the BuMpYbUmPyBuUuUuUmMmMmMmMpPpPyY road to the mall and had fun in macys, where we also got stalked by some creepy man O: after that we decided to be like the sisterhood of the traveling pants, and get a t-shirt that would all fit us, and we got a white one with like 3 hearts on it at steve && barrys and we're gonna write on it (: aand we also got a lovely babydoll tanktop at aeropostale that all fits us PERFECTLY. we will pass it on by our numbers (vee-1, ashley-2, taylor-3, stephanie-4, me-5; amanda-6) i think this will be lovely. uuh in the middle of the mall we did one of those star thingys with our fingers. (ill put the picture up laaataah), then we got drinks at pretzel time (: aand then we went to lady footlocker and looked at the cool shooooes! then we went back to taylors houuuuuuuse and CHILLED. werrrrrrrrd. OHOH! and we also took pictures with garfield in a car (kiddy ride) and we WERE gonna ride it too, but it was out of commission ): sadsad )': err errrr, our videos and pictures are LEGENDARY. dont be hatinnnnn'. PEACE OUT HOME SKILLET.

my back hurts.
i ate a pumpkin muffin from dunkin donuts for breakfast and some white hot chocolate too, but that burnded my tonguey ):
i also am watching veggie tales currently (: i enjoy that show :D bob & larry :D
